Background: A self taught artist, I began drawing birds, fish and animals as a boy on
Pine Lake near LaPorte, Indiana. My young friends called me nature boy because most
of my free time was spent in woods, or near a pond sketching wildlife, while they
puttered with cars.
Today my wife and I dwell on 14-acres SE of Yelm. It teams with inspiration, and we've dedicated it to providing a nice place for wild critters to live and visit. I try to depict a mood, tell a story, or show interaction between wildlife as inspired by my life's experiences. With humor when I can.
