Local well-loved watercolor artist, Jane King, celebrates 90 th at The Artists’ Gallery
OLYMPIA, Washington, USA – THE ARTISTS’ GALLERY hosts local watercolor artist Jane King in April as guest artist and throws a 90 th birthday celebration.
Announcing a very special guest artist Jane King during the month of April. King, a well-known and loved watercolor artist and teacher, spent 34 years as an active member of The Artists’ Gallery.
Friends and community members are invited to welcome King back for the month of April as a
guest artist and for a special 90th birthday reception on April 14, 2023.
Jane's work has won many awards, has been acknowledged nationally, and is in many fine collections
across America and the world. She has been a prolific artist for more than 60 years. Not only was Jane a
member of The Artists’ Gallery in Olympia for 34 years, she also has taught drawing at Ben Franklin,
watercolor classes at the Senior Citizen Centers and, is still an active member of the Olympia Art League.
Jane King’s watercolors of local Olympia scenery will be featured during the month of April. Collectors,
new and old alike, will want to come see this special showing of Jane’s work. A reception and 90 th
birthday celebration will be April 14 from 11 AM to 2 PM. Friends, students, and community members
are all welcome to enjoy refreshments, music, and fine art of course.
